The Jobs Transformation Maps (JTMs) for In-house Finance & Accounting (F&A) functions and Accounting Practices was launched on 5 January 2022.
The JTMs identify key technologies and their impact on individual job roles in finance and accounting functions, and accounting practices. They also lay out the pathways for employers to transform jobs and for workers to get the needed skills as new job roles emerge and existing roles evolve.
Accountancy Job Redesign Toolkit
The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Workforce Singapore, Economic Development Board and the Singapore Accountancy Commission have developed the Accountancy Job Redesign Toolkit, a step-by-step guide to redesign the top four job roles impacted by technology. It includes a job evolution and training roadmap, change management strategies, case studies, and available funding options for job redesign and adoption of technology solutions. The toolkit features four job roles, i.e, Accounts Executive, Senior Accounts Executive/Accountant, Tax Associate and Audit Associate.
